Why Białołęka?
Białołęka is a rapidly developing part of Warsaw (“Young Warsaw”), with a large population and growing healthcare needs. At the same time, access to a Primary Care (POZ) doctor can be limited – this is why we focus on flexible solutions and a broad range of services here.
Białołęka has 158,749 residents (as of 01/01/2024). With many young families, the demand for pediatric care and preventive services continues to grow.
We see a real need to improve fast access to POZ doctors - both organizationally and technologically (teleconsultations, streamlined processes).
Our top priority is prevention of lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, stroke, heart attack, obesity, and cancer - by implementing appropriate diagnostic tools earlier and more effectively.

About Us
Doctormed Foundation Primary Care Clinic (POZ) is a non-profit organization and a healthcare provider. Our registered office is located in Warsaw (Wilanów), while our medical facility operates in the Białołęka district of Warsaw at Płochocińska 111.
The mission of the Doctormed Foundation is to provide free, comprehensive medical care exclusively for patients registered with the POZ doctor at our clinic. This comprehensive care includes funding highly specialized laboratory tests and advanced diagnostic imaging (when medically indicated) that are not covered by the NFZ within standard POZ primary care services.
Family Medicine Specialist - owner of the Doctormed Foundation Primary Care Clinic (POZ) and a member of the medical team with many years of clinical experience in Poland and the United Kingdom. We focus on quality, prevention, and fast access to care. Dr Syrnik provides pediatric and internal medicine services as part of her family medicine specialization.
At the Doctormed Foundation Primary Care Clinic (POZ), we employ highly qualified medical staff with extensive experience. After the visit, patients can feel the professional approach of both the team and the doctor to their health concerns.
Who are we?
Doctormed Foundation is a non-profit organization established to support patients registered with our clinic’s Primary Care (POZ) services, provide medical care at the highest international standards, and protect the health of patients and their entire families through a holistic approach.
We provide primary healthcare services for children and adults, including in-clinic appointments, teleconsultations and (within the NFZ framework) home visits during working hours.
- NFZ working hours (standard): 8:00–18:00 on weekdays
- Appointments: in-clinic internal medicine consultations (20 min), in-clinic pediatric consultations (20–30 min), vaccinations, teleconsultations, home visits (according to POZ regulations).
Through donations, we fund highly specialized laboratory tests and advanced diagnostic imaging that go beyond standard NFZ coverage. We also finance highly specialized medical equipment, both stationary and portable. In addition, we support in-clinic appointments and treatment for homeless patients.

Tests and diagnostics
Funding highly specialized laboratory and diagnostic imaging tests that are not covered by the NFZ within standard POZ primary care services.
Extended availability
Developing care beyond standard working hours so that patients can access teleconsultations quickly when it matters most – after hours, on weekends, and on public holidays. (Program currently under development.)
Mobile equipment and development
Purchasing modern equipment for both in-clinic and portable diagnostics. We also fund various forms of medical transport in non-standard situations to enable diagnostics in patients’ homes. (Program currently under development.)
Training for medical staff in Poland and abroad
We fund training in Poland and abroad for the medical staff employed at our clinic, including mandatory annual professional training.
Transparency and trust
We know that credibility is essential for a foundation. That’s why we focus on transparency in our activities and clear communication with our donors.
Donors who give their consent will be listed on our website as a thank-you and as part of our commitment to transparency.
The Foundation invests in staff training in Poland and abroad so that the quality of care grows along with the organization.
We plan to provide regular updates on equipment purchases and areas of support (in compliance with legal requirements and data protection rules).
Scope of free services under Primary Care (POZ) – NFZ
Below are the key areas of support for children and adults. Services are provided in accordance with POZ regulations, and our approach is strengthened by prevention and comprehensive care.
In-clinic and preventive services within the POZ pediatric practice: vaccinations, health check-ups (well-child visits), rapid diagnostic tests (nasal, throat, and finger-prick CRP), examinations, prevention and health programs, teleconsultations, prescriptions, sick leave certificates, in-clinic appointments, and home visits (Białołęka only).
Diagnostics and internal medicine care within the POZ adult practice: vaccinations, prevention, rapid diagnostic tests (nasal, throat, and finger-prick CRP), teleconsultations, prescriptions, sick leave certificates, in-clinic appointments, and home visits (Białołęka only), in accordance with POZ regulations.
Referrals and cooperation within NFZ-funded services: ultrasound scans (e.g., abdomen, thyroid, lymph nodes) and X-ray examinations (e.g., chest and other areas).
Laboratory and imaging tests ordered by a Doctormed Foundation Clinic doctor (patients receive a referral code) are performed free of charge at DIAGNOSTYKA laboratories nationwide in Poland. Our patients do not need to come early in the morning specifically for a blood draw.
Medical transport services
For patients of our Primary Care (POZ) physician practice. Various forms of transport are currently being arranged/implemented.

2. CARDIAC MONITOR – LIFEPAK 15 or LIFEPAK 20 – one of the newest and most advanced mobile devices for comprehensive monitoring of a patient’s vital functions, designed to help save lives. It measures oxygen saturation, monitors heart activity (including a 12-lead ECG view), performs defibrillation, and can automatically connect with an emergency/interventional cardiology admissions unit.

Abdominal ultrasound (portable) – a mobile ultrasound system for immediate assessment of internal organs at the patient’s bedside, during a home visit, or in the clinic during an in-person consultation. It supports rapid diagnostics in emergencies, e.g., detecting acute inflammatory conditions such as acute cholecystitis or appendicitis.
